HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Membership Eligibility
Membership at Oklahoma Educators Credit Union is available to school
employees throughout the state of Oklahoma, employees of our Select
Employees Groups (SEG's), and their family members.
Family Membership
Your immediate family members are eligible to become credit union
members. Immediate family members include your spouse, child, parent,
brother, sister, stepparent, stepchild, grandchild, or grandparent. So
share the value of an Oklahoma Educators Credit Union membership with
those closest to you by offering them the benefit of credit union
membership.
How to Become a Member
-
The quickest way to become an Oklahoma
Educators Credit Union member is to stop by any OECU office. It takes
just a few minutes to open a savings (share) account with a $5 minimum
deposit that will qualify
you for membership. Then you can immediately apply for our low-rate loans and
open additional deposit accounts at the credit union. Please be sure
to bring a valid ID with you.
-
If you would like to open and print an
enrollment application online, you can bring the completed
application to our office with your opening deposit at your
convenience. For the safety and security of your account, your
signature is required to open an account; therefore, enrollment cannot
be completed on-line. If you would like to mail the completed
application, please include $5 minimum deposit along with a copy of your driver's license to verify
your identity, and mail the form to: Oklahoma Educators Credit Union,
PO Box 22222, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
When opening any account, Oklahoma
Educators Credit Union will comply with the U.S. Patriot Act. For more
information on the Patriot Act,

Once a Member, Always a Member
Once you are a member of the credit union, you may remain a member for
life, even if you terminate your employment with the school, business or
association through which you originally qualified for membership.
